House...look out!

We need to study and watch what the media is trying to sell the American public about the Rev. Wright! Check out how this one writer writes about what Rev. Wrights speech as he quotes the Rev Wright as saying" God damn America." and that is not what he said at all...which is an outright lie and attempt to mock what is fair and just in our world. How many pastors probably use these same types of speeches to relate events or periods in time to describe one event as compared to another every Sunday? But yet we don’t see their sermons being used to belittle their message to their congregation?

This is a snippet of what they wrote: "Among the sound bites that were played over again on news programs beginning in March was Wright proclaiming from the pulpit "God damn America" for its racism and treatment of African-Americans."

I retrieved this interruption of the word damned from dictionary.com:

5.            The damned, those condemned to suffer eternal punishment.

–adverb

Not to mention what Rev. Wright really said was, "God damned America." For the wrong things that America has did to others, but what he was trying to relate was that Americans cries foul when the same things happen back to our country like on the bombing of the Twin Towers in NY on 9-11. , he was not saying that the people who committed the act were right for doing it, but merely that we got back some of what we have done to others in the past during our own wars and laws that stripped others of their rights or life.

What the Reverend more so saying is that we as a country have terrorized other countries and other races for hundreds of years ... and that we’ve killed innocent people too… The American Indians, Koreans, China and in-slaved hundreds and thousands of Blacks and the list goes on and on. Children mothers, sons, fathers and daughters!

But we cry foul when the deeds of America are revealed by a small city black minister, who just so happens to be the minister of the first ever real potential black candidate for President. Not to mention that all the sermons were years ago and not recently and who the hell can say if Obama was present or not?

The media nor us should not try to use another man’s words be they right or wrong words to try and belittle another man’s dream, particular when it is being done out of malice and fear mongering.

We need to correct these lying writers and news media reporters and we should all as Americans feel shame for not accepting the errors of our own past mistakes and wrong doings we have done to others?

We may never take back the past, but it doesn’t mean we can’t face up to it! Let us each think about our own injustice as mere humans before we take offense to someone pointing out that there is splinter in our eye? Feel we no shame for some of our own in atrocities or in humanity to our fellow man that we have committed?

“I’m looking at the reflection of the man I see in my own stream of shame.”
